Serving 6th to 12th grade students, Antelope View Charter School uses an independent study program which also requires site-based instruction. Our site-based classes have a student-teacher ratio of about 20 to 1.
Classes for most students are held Tuesday through Friday. Middle schoolers attend from 9:00 AM to 12:10 PM. 9th and 12th-graders attend from 8:25 AM to 11:30 AM, while 10th and 11th-graders attend from 9:00 AM to 12:10 PM. All students meet with their Consulting Teacher for at least 1 hour every week. State law requires that any missed consulting appointments MUST be made up.
We make high demands of our students, and require regular attendance and a strong work ethic. Remember, as an independent study school, we require students to perform a good deal of work at home. See our enrollment page for more information.
